40% of Black employees say they feel like outsiders in their corporate culture. We aim to change that.
We’re not an employment agency, nor are we recruiters or headhunters.
We do offer a free job board that help job seekers find careers within organizations that are committed to working toward improving racial equity, and to creating environments where employees experience a true sense of belonging.
All the jobs on our site are posted by employers who post their jobs in affirmation of their support of engaging in the work necessary to combat racial injustice, inside, and outside of the workplace. We never copy jobs from other sites!
Please join us as we build better, stronger, more inclusive workplaces and communities.

Analyze Your Resume
Over 90% of large companies use Applicant Tracking Systems. When an applicant applies to a job, the Applicant Tracking System uses a computer program to analyze the applicant’s resume.
Resumes that pass the computer’s test, are sent to a human being. Resumes that don’t pass the test, don’t get sent to a human being. Because of this, many qualified candidates slip through the cracks.
Jobscan’s resume scanner, scans resumes and provides feedback about what needs to be changed on your resume, to improve your chances of getting your resume pass the computer, and into the hands of a recruiter/hiring manager.

Why The Name Black Lives Matter Jobs?
In an ideal world, the phrase “Black Lives Matter,” would be mundane and nondescript. It should not be controversial that Black lives do matter. Unfortunately however, for those who deny the existence of racial inequity and racial inequality, the phrase is a controversial one.
We chose the name Black Lives Matter Jobs, for our job board, because Black people and our allies deserve to work within organizations that are willing to affirm that Black lives matter. We deserve to work within organizations that recognize that racial injustice exists. We deserve to work within organizations that are committed to fighting racial injustice. Because, although the term “racial justice” may seem somewhat abstract to some, Black lives and Black employee lives are not abstract. Our very beings are the embodiment of the reason the Black Lives Matter movement even exists.
Our job board allows candidates to quickly and easily identify career opportunities within organizations that have shown a commitment to creating work environments where employees truly experience a sense of belonging.
Especially as it relates to Black candidates, having a central job board is important for a number of reasons. Chief amongst those reasons, is that a central job board reduces instances of Black people failing to apply for jobs that they are qualified for, because of fear of rejection due to our race, and/or failing to apply for a job because of fear of an organization’s culture. A central job board also reduces the concern Black candidates face with regard to having to “whiten” our resumes and/or presenting a less than authentic version of ourselves.
In short, Black Lives Matter Jobs encourages quality Black talent to apply for positions and, to bring our full, authentic selves to hiring organizations at the start of the hiring process.
We support the Black Lives Matter movement’s fight to end racial injustice. Our job board and organizational services are our contribution to that fight. However, we are not affiliated with the Black Lives Matter Global Network.
