As the Chief People Officer (CPO), you will be responsible for developing and executing a global people strategy in support of the overall business plan and strategic direction of the organization, specifically in the areas of culture and employee experience, talent management, change management, organizational and performance management, learning and development, total rewards, and compliance. You will provide strategic direction by articulating the People needs and plans to the executive team and the board of trustees. You will also be expected to provide creative and insightful solutions to critical people issues and advise other members of the executive team accordingly.
You will work closely with the Chief Executive Officer and the entire RMI senior leadership team to develop, enhance, and implement global talent strategies, tools and best practices that will facilitate the achievement of RMI’s mission. You will also head up a strong human resources function and be dedicated to supporting the professional growth of each team member. You will therefore:
This position will remain remote through the COVID-19 pandemic. Once the situation improves, it is preferred that this role will be based out of one of our offices in Washington, D.C., New York City, Oakland, CA, Boulder, or Basalt, CO. This will be discussed further throughout the interview process.
The salary range for this position is $215,000-$275,000, with the target being $250,000. Compensation is dependent on experience and will be discussed/vetted throughout the interview process. This role has an additional 25% bonus target.
